Fauquier Excellence In Education Foundation (FEIEF) is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to creating, enriching and expanding educational opportunities for Fauquier County Public Schools.
We are located in Fauquier County, Virginia serving over 11,000 students in 20 schools including 11 elementary, 5 middle and 4 high schools.
Our Board of Directors is a volunteer-based group of business leaders, parents, administrators and teachers.
2018 EDUCATOR GRANT INFORMATION
The Fauquier Excellence in Education Foundation provides financial assistance to dedicated Fauquier County public school teachers, educators and administrators to enable them to participate in high quality professional development opportunities that will impact their classroom teaching. These funds will support participation in experiences such as conferences, seminars, research, cultural programs and summer institutes.
Since the program began in 1984, funds in excess of a quarter of a million dollars have benefited nearly 200 teachers as they pursued a diverse list of opportunities.
Teachers, educators, administrators and staff who have taught in the Fauquier County School system for a minimum of three years, are tenured in our system, intend to continue to work in Fauquier County, and have not received a grant in the previous three years are eligible to apply.
Excluded from consideration are required courses in pursuit of advanced degrees and activities that do not relate to the applicant’s assigned teaching level or subject area.

We are excited to announce that Fauquier Excellence In Education Foundation, Fauquier County Public Schools and Lord Fairfax Community College received the inaugural Governor's Award for Excellence and Innovation in Education for Community Partnerships and Collaboration
Governor McAuliffe created this new initiative to recognize outstanding educators and leaders, schools, divisions, and community partners. Out of more than 120 nominations,13 were selected for recognition and honored at the Executive Mansion.
We are so proud of our Board of Directors, volunteers, business leaders and partners who work together to create a bridge with our schools, students, families and the community.
